Lake Erie Fishing Report: Welcome to the weekend! We hope everyone gets a chance to get out on the water and catch some fish! Here is what we have heard in the shop: We have heard reports of great fishing in Ashtabula in 55-60 feet of water on BadMo/Stinger spoons in purple/black and pink/orange. The water levels are currently sitting around 60-75’ of water. We have also gotten reports out of Conneaut of excellent fishing in 45-50 feet of water using BadMo spoons in pink/blue. 7/23/21 Berlin Lake Area Fishing Report

Berlin Lake Area Fishing Report: It should be another great weekend for fishing, besides a chance of rain on Sunday. Here is what we have heard in the shop: The water level at Berlin continues to sit a little above normal at 0.51 feet above the usual water level at the end of July. The water temp is 68.72°, with the buoy temp at a foot below the surface of 76.97°. Walleye are still plentiful and we have gotten reports of great fishing done while trolling north of 224 at 2mph. Good morning and here is what we have heard amongst all the July rain for Erie: Anglers have still been catching action out on the Lake despite all the rain we have had. In Cleveland, Walleye has been caught in 25-50 feet of water, primarily on Stinger Spoons, as well as casting ¾ oz Erie Dearies as well. In Ashtabula and Geneva, the bait used has primarily been spoons. Fishing continues to do well in the Central Basin, also in 25-50 feet of water. Berlin Lake Area Fishing Report: It’s the middle of July and the rain has been falling! Here is what we have heard: There is still some action to be had at Berlin. The water level is at 1.28 feet above normal thanks to all the rain we have had. The water temperature is 72.86°, and the dam buoy temp at 1 foot below the surface is 81.38°. Walleye are still being caught out on the water in the North end of Berlin on size 7 Flicker Shads, as well as size 7 Flicker Minnows, trolling at 2mph in 12-14 feet...

Lake Erie Fishing Report: It’s another great weekend to be out on the water fishing! Here is the chatter as we know it: Walleye fishing has been excellent, and should continue into the weekend. We are hearing similar reports as last weekend: large numbers of undersized Walleye are being caught, with the best fishing northeast of Kelleys Island and near the Vermilion Weather Buoy, and also nearshore off Huron and Vermilion in 16-22 feet of water.
