🎣 Weekly Fishing Report 🎣
Crappie:
Crappie anglers are finding fish holding around shaded cover as the summer pattern continues to develop. Bridges, docks, and shoreline trees that provide shade have been some of the better areas to target. Live minnows, Bobby Garlands, and Crappie Magnets continue to be the go-to baits for putting fish in the boat.
Walleye:
Most of the recent walleye reports have come from anglers trolling. Fish are being caught around the north end of Berlin Lake, with Flicker Shads, Harvest Shads, and Flicker Minnows producing the best results. Covering water and locating active schools has been key to success.
Wipers:
The wiper bite remains consistent, with the majority of reports still coming from Walborn Reservoir. Anglers continue to catch fish using 3–4 inch paddletail swimbaits as well as chicken liver, both of which have been producing steady action.
Catfish:
Catfish activity has really picked up over the past few weeks, with more fish being reported throughout the area. Many of the better fish have been coming from deeper water and around drop-offs. Top baits continue to be nightcrawlers, shrimp, shad, and chicken liver.
