Crappie:
Crappie fishing has continued to be solid this week. A lot of fish are being caught shallow in 3–5 ft of water around trees and shoreline cover. Anglers have been having the best luck using live minnows, Bobby Garlands, and Crappie Magnets.
Wipers:
The wiper bite has stayed strong with steady reports still coming from Walborn Reservoir and the southwest corner of Berlin Lake. Fish are being caught on 3–4 inch paddletail swimbaits along with chicken liver.
Walleye:
There have been more walleye reports this week, with fish being caught on flats in the 6–10 ft range. The bite seems to be starting to pick up as water temperatures continue to warm. Productive methods have been jigs tipped with crawlers or minnows, along with trolling Flicker Shads and Flicker Minnows.
Catfish:
Catfish action has remained good across Walborn, Deer Creek, and Berlin Lake. Most successful anglers have been targeting bridges and deeper drop-offs. Best baits this week have been shad, nightcrawlers, chicken liver, and shrimp.
