Walleye: Action has slowed a bit, but there are still some fish being caught. The Railroad Bridge area has been a hotspot with anglers having success using Vibes. Trolling with Flicker Minnows and Flicker Shads has caught some fish.
Crappie: The crappie fishing is on fire! Greenbower and Rockhill are producing loads of big crappie. If you’re fishing from a boat, the Railroad Bridge area is the place to be. Soft plastics like Bobby Garlands, Panfish Assassins, and Twister Tails are working wonders, and live minnows are also a good bet. Expect this bite to only get better as the weather cools down.
Catfish: Catfish action remains steady with reports coming in from various spots. The 14 Bridge at Berlin and State Park at Deer Creek continue to be reliable locations. Walborn has also been good, particularly off Reeder Road, with some nice-sized cats coming in. Best baits have been shrimp, large nightcrawlers, and artificial catfish bait.
