Fishing Report 7/5/2024

Walleye- Has been hot in the 10-14 ft range, especially around the railroad bridge and northward. Anglers are having success trolling baits such as Flicker Shads, Flicker Minnows, and Bandits. The bite is strong, so don't miss out on this prime trolling opportunity!

Crappie- Has been a bit slower but still productive in depths of 10-16 ft. Soft plastics like Bobby Garlands, Panfish Assassins, and Gulp Minnows rigged on 1/16 oz jigs are proving effective for these fish.

Wipers-  Head over to Walborn, Deer Creek, or the southwest corner of Berlin Lake after heavy rains for some exciting wiper action. These hard-fighting fish are making appearances and providing a thrilling challenge for anglers looking for a bit of excitement.

Catfish- Reports have came in from everywhere, particularly Berlin Lake, Walborn, and Deer Creek. Night crawlers, chicken liver, shrimp, and artificial catfish baits are all getting the job done, especially during the nighttime hours when these fish are most active.
