Fishing Report 6/6/2025

Crappie – Most reports are coming from structure like bridge pillars and trees. Night fishing has also been good around Walborn and Berlin Lake. Minnows, Panfish Assassins, Bobby Garlands, and Twister Tails have all been productive when paired with a 1/32–1/16 oz jig head.

Walleye – Most fish are being caught in shallow water near green trees and bushes using Fireball Jigs tipped with crawlers or leeches. Some are also starting to be caught by trolling with Flicker Shads, Flicker Minnows, and Bandit Walleye Shads.

Catfish – Catches have come from all over using baits like shrimp, chicken liver, large nightcrawlers, and preserved catfish bait. Many fish have been reported in deeper water around 10–15 feet.

Wipers – A few have been caught at Deer Creek after a hard rain, but most reports are limited. Some have been picked up around Walborn while crappie fishing with minnows, and others at Berlin on spinnerbaits and crankbaits.
