🎣 Weekly Fishing Report 🎣

Crappie:
As water temperatures continue to warm, many crappie are beginning to slide into slightly deeper water during the day and are relating more to shaded areas. Look for fish around submerged trees, docks, and other cover that provides shade. Minnows, Bobby Garlands, and Crappie Magnets continue to be productive choices.

Walleye:
More walleye reports have been coming in this week, with trolling becoming the most effective method. Anglers are finding success pulling Flicker Shads, Flicker Minnows, and other small crankbaits over flats and along transition areas. The bite appears to be improving as summer patterns start to develop.

Wipers:
Wipers have been providing steady action, with the best reports coming from Walborn Reservoir and at Deer Creek. Chicken liver has been accounting for a lot of fish lately, although some anglers are still catching them on artificial presentations as well.

Catfish:
The catfish bite remains consistent throughout the area. Fish are being caught around bridges, deeper holes, and drop-offs in many local lakes and reservoirs. Chicken liver, shad, shrimp, and nightcrawlers continue to be some of the best options for anglers targeting catfish.
