Fishing Report 6/14/2024

Walleye: The walleye have moved deeper and are staging north of the railroad bridge at Berlin. Anglers are having great success with crawler harnesses, flicker shads, Perfect 10s, and Bandit lures. Most catches are coming from depths of 10-15 feet.

Crappie: The crappie bite has slowed down a bit, but they're still being caught in shallow waters around 6-12 feet. Live minnows and soft plastics like Bobby Garlands and Panfish Assassins, rigged with a 1/32 or 1/16 oz jig head, are doing the trick. Look for shady areas as crappies are hanging out in the cooler, shaded water.

Wipers: Wipers have been active in Deer Creek and Walborn. Anglers are reporting good catches using chicken livers, shrimp, and spinnerbaits.

Catfish: Catfish are biting all over, with notable success at Walborn and Berlin. Large nightcrawlers, shrimp, chicken liver, and artificial catfish bait are proving effective. We've seen catches at various depths, both shallow and deep.
