Fishing Report 6/10/22

Another great week of fishing!

Crappie- crappie are still being caught at Berlin and Deer Creek in shallow water and in structures near the shore. Minnows, jigs and twister tails, and panfish assassins (especially black with gold glitter) have been successful.

Wipers- we are still receiving reports of wipers being caught at Deer Creek and Berlin on both fresh and preserved chicken liver.

Walleye- Walleye are slowing down this week. They are being caught in shallow willows and down trees along State Route 225. Whistler jigs and Fireball jigs tipped with crawlers are still doing the trick. Expect to start trolling for them in Berlin in the near future.

Bass--bass are mostly in weed beds and around structure. Use slow moving tactics like fishing and finesse fishing.

Catfish-catfish have been abundant everywhere. Chicken liver, shrimp, and cut shad have been the most popular baits.
