Fishing Report 5/17/2024

Crappie- They are in shallower waters, now hanging around structures in depths of 3-5 feet. Price Street remains a popular spot for anglers having luck with soft plastics like Panfish Assassins and Bobby Garlands, as well as minnows.

Walleye- The activity is increasing in the shallows, with reports of success in waters around 3-5 feet deep. Anglers are using baits such as Flicker Shad, fireball jigs, and nightcrawlers to reel them in.

White bass- They are showing signs of another run into the river, likely due to recent water level increases. Anglers along the Mahoning River are having success with various lures, including Rooster Tails, twister tails, and live minnows.

Catfish- They are scattered all throughout the lake, providing opportunities for those using baits like chicken liver, shad, shrimp, and large nightcrawlers.
