Lake Erie Fishing Report

Happy weekend everyone! We hope you get a chance to get up to Erie and get out on the water this weekend!

Walleye fishing continues to be excellent from Cleveland to Ashtabula. If you are after bigger fish, they are being caught farther offshore, but are starting to migrate a bit closer to shore. This pattern should continue as the weather gets colder and they search for warmer, shallow water. Nice sized Walleye were reported in 65-74 feet of water caught on Stinger Spoons. The best colors have been Fruit Loops and Just Say No – they are flying off the shelves at the shop. BadMo spoons also remain a popular bait choice in both the 2.5” and 3.5” size and have sold well to anglers fishing out of Ashtabula.

Perch is starting to improve near Conneaut and Ashtabula. Sabiki rigs have been far and above the most popular bait. Rigs have been fished naked or tipped with maggots or red works/nightcrawlers.

Come check out our new selection of Sabikis! We just received some new models for 2022.
