7/9/21 Berlin Lake Area Fishing Report

Berlin Lake Area Fishing Report:

It should be a wonderful weekend of fishing! Here is the chatter from the shop:

The water level is sitting slightly above normal, thanks to all the rain we have gotten this week, at 0.25 feet above normal. The surface water temp is 72.5°, and the dam buoy temp at a foot below surface is 81.38°.

Walleye fishing is still going strong. We have reports of excellent fishing north of 224 in 12-15’ feet of water. Bait of choice has been Hawg Harness, especially in purple with nightcrawlers, #7 Flicker Shads, and #7 Flicker Minnows.

Catfish are also still plentiful, especially at the Deer Creek spillway, Walborn Dam, and on German Church Rd, caught with shrimp and nightcrawlers.

Stop in and see us this weekend! And if you’re out on the water this weekend, send us your reports and pics to info@talltalestackle.com
