Berlin Lake Area Fishing Report:
It’s the last weekend in July, and the weather should provide another great weekend for fishing! Here’s what we have heard:
The water level at Berlin is sitting a little below normal at -0.32 feet. The water temp at the surface is 73.94° and the buoy temperature at 1 foot below the surface is 81.29°.
Wipers have been biting out at Walborn on ned rigs and chicken liver.
Musky fishing has seen action out on Lake Milton on Northland Rumble Shads and size 7 Flicker Minnows.
Catfish continue to be plentiful at Deer Creek on shrimp and anise flavored chicken liver.
Crappie fishing is best on the Mahoning River when water levels are elevated, and the best bait has been Panfish Assassins. The weather calls for a chance on rain on Sunday, which should bring the water levels up a bit to increase your odds.
Enjoy another beautiful weekend out on the water and as always, send us your reports and images to info@talltalestackle.com or tag us on Instagram @talltalestackle.
