Good morning and here is what we have heard amongst all the July rain for Erie:
Anglers have still been catching action out on the Lake despite all the rain we have had. In Cleveland, Walleye has been caught in 25-50 feet of water, primarily on Stinger Spoons, as well as casting ¾ oz Erie Dearies as well. In Ashtabula and Geneva, the bait used has primarily been spoons. Fishing continues to do well in the Central Basin, also in 25-50 feet of water.
For Largemouth Bass, continue to stick to breakwalls using spinnerbaits and chatterbaits.
For Channel Catfish, the numbers and size are still doing well in Sandusky Bay, with the fish being large in size. Popular bait is shrimp fished on a Carolina rig.
Enjoy your weekend, stay dry and send us your reports and images to info@talltalestackle.com!
