Lots of fish being caught this week!   Crappie, walleye, and catfish have all been good with plenty of wipers mixed in as well.

Wipers-  Wipers have been caught in Walborn, Deer Creek, and Berlin this week, with Chicken Liver, shiners, and large minnows being the best baits to utilize.  Look for them near spillways or dams after we get some rain.

Walleye-  Walleye have been caught in around most of the willow trees in Berlin by anglers both wading and casting from boats.  We have also heard of walleye being caught trolling near the Southern end of the lake by anglers trolling flicker shads and flicker minnows in size 5.  If wading or casting, target them with a jig tipped with a leech or a nightcrawler.

Crappie:  Crappie have been caught in both shallow water (as they prepare to spawn) and transitioning from deeper water to submerged cover in bushes and trees in Berlin and Deer Creek.  Target them with jigs and twister tails, panfish assassins or Gulp tipped with maggots.

Catfish-  Catfish have been caught all over, but best baits have been shrimp or shad with large minnows also taking some fish earlier in the week.
