Wipers-
The bite for wipers is still good with all the weather that has been happening. The best numbers of fish have been coming out of Walborn Reservoir but the best luck has been off of German Church. The best bait being used is chicken livers under a float. There have also been fish caught on a double jig rig, and a Rapala DT 6 or DT 8 throwing or trolling. Our tournament winner caught his fish on a spinnerbait! There also has been reports on Wipers being caught off of the 224 bridge in Berlin, they have been using a white jighead with a gulp minnow on it.
Walleye-
Very few reports are coming in but they are starting to ramp up. They have been caught at the 224 bridge in Berlin using white jig heads with a gulp minnow just like the wipers there have been.
White Bass-
The White Bass are in the river and running as you read! They love to bite rooster tails and live bait but will eat pretty much anything. They are one of the only fish that actually eat while they are spawning. The best locations to find them are in the Mahoning river, as well as off of Greenbower and Price St Bridges.
Crappie-
Reports are coming in of crappie being caught in Berlin and the Mahoning River. FisherbassinTv has caught some good sized ones out of both locations using a CrapSlap. Some other spots to try that have been producing fish have been off of the Greenbower bridge by the trees that are submerged or hanging just above the water, the fish seek shelter by them.
Here's some pictures of some fish caught by local anglers and Bryce from FisherbassingTv:
